Tanzania devices tour marketing strategy

Tanzania has launched an International Tourism Marketing Strategy that is cantered to promote the county’s tour attractions globally, The Guardian can report

Briefing reporters yesterday in Dar es Salaam in a climax of a tour visit by eight journalists from South Africa, TTB marketing manager Godfrey Meena said that, the five year marketing strategy is expected to double digits of the tourists visiting the country.

He said the strategy will involve advertising tour attractions especially those located in the southern circuit of the country.

Meena further explained that the promotion plan will involve a mixed marketing strategy in the focused countries citing United Kingdom, USA, Germany and Italy.

Others in the list are France, Netherlands, Canada, Australia and Spain, South Africa, Brazil and India.

According g to TTB senior public relations officer Godfrey Tengeneza, the visiting journalists were from Public and Private owned Media houses in South Africa. They had a three day tour in the country where they visited Selous game reserve.
